A trip from Florida to West End, Grand Bahamas, then onto Green Turtle Cay in the Abacos (Bahamas) and visiting various additional islands in the Abacos.

A trip from Florida to West End, Grand Bahamas, then onto Green Turtle Cay in the Abacos (Bahamas) and visiting various additional islands in the Abacos including Man-O-War Cay, Nippers on Guana Cay, Treasure Cay beach and swimming with juvenile green sea turtles.

Nine boats met-up at Munion Island in North Palm Beach as a day trip to enjoy a barbeque and camaraderie.

Some of the boats (and some via car) met at Pirates Cove Resort & Marina in Stuart, FL for a few nights at the marina, taking local day trips via boat and enjoying evening dinners together.

2019 was a more extensive trip through the Bahamas, visiting Bimini, Great Harbor in the Berry Islands, Spanish Wells, then over open Atlantic waters to Green Turtle Cay and Hope Town on Elbow Cay in the Abacos, and finally back to West End Grand Bahamas before heading home.

The 2020 Okeechobee Waterway trip started at Pirate's Cove in Stuart Florida, through 2 locks and across Lake Okeechobee to Roland and Mary Martin's Marina in Clewiston, then west through three more locks to Fort Myers. Staying there for some nights and then returning east through the waterway.

The 2021 Bahamas trip started by cruising to Green Turtle Cay. Then, onto Hope Town on Elbow Cay, south across open Atlantic Ocean to Spanish Wells, further to Cape Eleuthera, starting back to Chub Cay where we met additional boats from the group, then returning home with a stop at Bimini.

The 2022 Bahamas trip included Green Turtle Cay and Hope Town on Elbow Cay in the Abacos, then south to Spanish Wells, then to Cape Eleuthera, over to Highbourne Cay at the north end of the Exumas, then onto Chub, then Bimini and then returning to Florida. We met additional boats from the group at Chub Cay.

The 2020 extended Bahamas trip explored new islands and marinas. First cruising to Green Turtle Cay, then Hope Town on Elbow Cay, then to Schooner Bay on south Great Abaco, down to Spanish Wells, then further south to Staniel Cay of the Exumas, west to Kamalame Cay on Andros Island, to Bimini and then return to Florida.

The 2024 Bahamas trip started to Bimini, then Chub Cay, onto Highbourne Cay where we were stuck until winds slowed, then meeting additional boats at Cape Eleuthera, then north to Spanish Wells, over open Atlantic Ocean to Hope Town on Elbow Cay, then to Green Turtle Cay, and returning home through West End Grand Bahamas.

The 2026 Bahamas trip was two to three weeks at Spanish Wells, depending upon the boat. From South Florida, we stopped each way at Bimini. From West Palm Beach/Jupiter, boats stopped each way at West End Grand Bahama.
